I wonder if our problem with faith is that we so often attempt to fit God into our concepts and ideas of God which inevitably are a way too small box. It wasn’t until I surrendered all conditioned beliefs and entered the dark void of no comprehension that I was met with a vision so completely pure that it defines all existence.
Thank you so much for sharing this insight into Emily Dickinson. I deeply relate to her and her nuanced thoughts. I felt happiness while reading to know of a fellow sojourner who so beautifully braided her faith with doubt and belief. I have found that as I search for HIm through my doubt, He becomes more and more real and alive. It is a bit frightening at times, but I always come back to a deeper commitment to walk closer than ever with Him. His steadfast presence in my life would be impossible without my doubt and willingness to search. Searching for him in the manger during this advent season fills my spirit. Thank you as always Diane. Just read the forward to Miracle on 10th Street. Loving it all! Christmas blessings to you and all who live and grow in your community.
I really resonate with this window. Thank you for this.
“Tender Pioneer” - nimble faith, expansive energies enough to include darkest doubt…powerful reminder. Thank you, Emily and Diana!
