I love this Diana, "the gift of every moment" just gave me more reason to be grateful of the present. RBG, might be gone physically but as a trailblazer Justice Ginsburg with her precious gifts already gave us a great start. For now we grieve in this sacred time.

Thank you. "Where might you find gratitude today?" will be one of the questions I will ask in a Zoom check-in meeting today.

As a contemplative, I am finding a very real and significant movement of evolutionary transformation occurring behind the scenes of the play of drama, which quite honestly can be a huge distraction. If one goes inward far enough, there is the realization that the God of love is the ground of being that we all exist in. Regardless of circumstances, what comes and goes, what appears and disappears, this sure unchanging flow of universal unconditional love is always present. This truth is surely something to be grateful for!

I also had to turn off the television. Simply could not bear it. I also can't control it, so anxiety about what is/has happened to our courts is not something I can do. But, I can mail the 100 postcards I have to encourage people to vote. I can't change the situation about my daughter who may be evicted today, but I can give her guidance and support and suggestions about how (maybe) to avoid that. I can work in my garden and be kind - I can do small things to make the world better. Maybe, for today, that will be enough.
