Thanks for your descriptive words, which challenge our stagnant thinking in our analysis of current events. I fear the fissuring of our relationships, communities, families, and, of course, our spiritual communities.
You have given us much to ponder for the days that lie ahead, Diana.
First I glad I’m not the only one who yells at the TV. As I read your article an entire sermon popped int to my head about the Golden rule. Can’t wait to share it. Thanks Diana for your lovely voice of light in the world.
Thank you for a profound message, offering hope and light in this new year. I seldom respond to pieces written by others, but this moved me to share it on Facebook. So, I shall stand with you and many, many others as we welcome a new year, where perhaps “it’s all about me,” will fade and “it’s all about Others,” will move us along the upward arc. Blessings be yours, Diana.
Jesus took this to a new dimension: "Those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it." - Luke 16:25 and Mark 8:35.
Thank you for this article. It does feel lonely at times and aggravating to watch your friends fly off to a Christmas vacation while you stay home and try to keep your family and friends safe. The golden rule is often on my mind and so important in this time. My hope is that 2021 becomes the year we came together in love.

Thank you, Diana, I joined last week, and this is the first post of yours I received.
It is, without doubt, the best New Years 'gift' any of us can give each other, our Community, our Country and our Earth.
As you have very thoroughly pointed out, this spiritual sentiment is the uniting common thread linking all main historical religious traditions.
It comes from a deeper place and gives us much to consider and DO, especially in these dark times.
Thank you so much for your very wise and accurate words.
Thank you for this, Diana.

Absolutely, Diana----Do Unto Others out of Love is certainly my goal for this new year, as it is always! Happy New Year to you and your family!
It is so devastating to me to have seen people refuse to stay home and that they simply must gather. My heart is so broken over this.

EXACTLY! Happy New Year, Diana, for you and yours.
May it be so.
May it be so.

Thank you for this reminder of the universal rule to love and respect our neighbors.
