My favorite is John 21 because it is "after a while" and back in Galilee,( but it is lacking because there are no women). One of my favorite meditations is to imagine approaching my favorite beach on Clear Creek at Camp McDowell, AL. As I approach I begin to hear voices, and then I see people sitting around a camp fire. One is telling a story. It is Jesus, and when he sees me approaching, he motions to me to come and join them. When I see his welcoming hand reaching toward me, I feel perfect peace.

I love this portion of Scripture as well because as the gardener tending my soul, Jesus is the best teacher I have!
