I kept this in my "IN" box instead of filing it away. I have read it several times now. Your message is practical, simple, and may do some good - especially for those who do one or more of the actions you recommend. Whether anyone is persuaded to vote, or vote one way or another, is a long shot.

Each time I read it, I keep circling back to the same thought: WE - are far, far, too late. Christians who have already decided that Christian Nationalism, and its standard-bearer Donald Trump, have little if anything to do with actual Christianity should, have been speaking out months, if not years ago.

The last Convocation Unscripted was so powerful, start to finish, each speaker spoke such brave truth, that I could not miss one word! Thank you.. faith and hope are bolstered by this , and courage to live it now. I watch from Canada, but share in the world-wide struggle of our times.

I watched also, the Convocation from your place in the desert. It was riveting and thank you all so much for every single thing you do. And for your words, because they matter. They do. I hope you know that. Also that while you're out there, exhausted and just bone weary we are with you in spirit. Before I digress here, that recording was just from the beyond. I felt lighter after watching and listening to the four of you. Your friendship together is a wonderful thing to witness.

Fabulous post DBB! Very inspiring. Coincidentally I read today in a book titled Mythologems by James Hollis that the words we use first begin their life as metaphor. So what pictures come to mind, either from lived experience or from our imagination, about what courage looks like? I guarantee that there isn’t a picture that looks like the Republican presidential candidate. It is precisely because Donald Trump lacks the courage that would normally result in respect that has him resort to the dirty tricks of all his dictatorial forbears….and some current ones too.

Thank you for the comments. The aftermath of this election will be substantial, I am afraid. We do need to be prepared, and be in prayer.

Thank you Diana. We also need to prepare ourselves for the aftermath of the election. No matter who wins. Hate has been unleashed for several years now.

I love that pic! We may think of ourselves as not that significant, but we can do great things if we give ourselves permission.
