It seems to me that God has never sent the rich away empty but in the awful freedom of existence, God has allowed the rich themselves to reject the gift.
Wonderful! I have always held special honor for Mary and her willingness to say yes, to an Angel of God! Without her, there would be no Jesus. Yes! Now, following the discussion of The First Christmas with Tripp and Dom, and reading your advent inspiration, I feel as if my quiet interpretation of the reality of Mary’s story and Joseph’s decision have been validated. I’m not so radical after all! Thank you!
