Thanks, sent the requested email...your reply showed up under the bell and the cottage was not gray...all the comments between Diane saying she was posting the pics of twitter and yours today are gray and don’t take me back to the origin of the comment. Appreciate you looking into it, will contact Substack also.

And what if everything had just stayed this way?

I am not pleased by what has happened to twitter.....It seems to be subject to random and impulsive whims.

I'm likely very uninformed, but why would Cottage writings be rejected? I mean, on what basis?

I wouldn't be on Twitter anyway. I got off Facebook too. I will join on this platform. Thank you for all you do Diana.

I stopped using Twitter when President Trump was elected, and have not gone back. Elon Musk's censorshbip and autocratic tendencies are no incentive to ever use it again. I am saddened, though by the censoring and banning and the restriction of free speech by yet one more person in power. The silence of this day is teh sadness, eprahpas, of how far we still ahve to travel to the promised land/. Jesus reminds me that no matter how strong the bullies, autocrats, dictators, empures and fear mongers seem to be, they will never accomplish the silencing they seek, not in the long term, not permanently, for the extravabant love Jesus shines, the arc of that love to justice, equity and right relationship may be deffered, but will never be silenced.

This has been such a helpful, soulful spirit-filled journey of Holy Week devotion, poetry and questions. I always learn much about scripture, history, context and myself. Thank you!

Well, I have never joined tweedle....er twaddle i mean twitter. Nor will I be a member of instagram or even 'my fat face' because some of those kinds of things demand one get a cellphone, and i do not own that either---if you need or want 3000 friends you don't need me. But substack has people w/ substance and things to say so in the end i have joined something--will wonders never cease?

I like your cottage very much; keep up the good works and I will keep reading.

I am grateful for your work including The Cottage but when the plutocrat EM bought Twitter I deleted my account. I now see Twitter as a better version of Truthsicial. I hope that someone will develop the platform that Twitter once was that is a public square and not a rich man’s plaything.

THE TWITTER LINKS ARE BACK. No one seems to know what happened or how long it will last.

Hopefully there is another social media site worth using. One Episcopal priest I know went to Mastodon. I deleted my Twitter account the day that Musk said Trump could go back on so I can't lodge a complaint with Twitter.

Thank you! I am so sorry about Twitter's shenanigans. I don't use it and feel even less inclined to spend time there with the arrival of Musk's craziness.

Thank you for sharing that bit from Unapologetic. I'm a huge fan of Spufford and loved the book. He has a deep understanding and is able to express it profoundly. His novels are wonderful too.

A great question for today: "And what is the stone that blocks us from living our true life and experiencing what that which we are meant to be? " As we observe Holy Saturday and the silence, darkness of our own tombs, the answer to this question prepares us for transformation, new beginnings on Easter. Thank you for sharing this and other questions and thoughts about Holy Saturday.
