Tomorrow - Friday April 23 - I’m hosting an open house here at The Cottage from 2:30 - 4PM eastern (11:30 - 1PM pacific and everything in-between and beyond). The conversation will focus on Freeing Jesus. And I’m happy to answer Ask Me Anything questions, too.
You don’t have to hang out for the whole 90 minutes. Drop in whenever you like, share a question or comment or story, and I’ll respond to as many as I can during the open house. You can also chat with and reply to other readers of the Cottage.
So, bring a latte or cup of tea. Click on the main page for The Cottage between 2:30 and 4 (eastern) and look for the FREEING JESUS OPEN HOUSE. I’ve never done this before - but my friends at Substack assure me it is easy.
Let’s see what happens! I hope this will be the first of monthly open houses.
Welcome to my place.
INSPIRATION
from THE INVITATION
by Oriah Mountain Dreamer
It doesn't interest me
what you do for a living.
I want to know
what you ache for
and if you dare to dream
of meeting your heart's longing.
It doesn't interest me
how old you are.
I want to know
if you will risk
looking like a fool
for love
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.
. . . I want to know
if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you
to the tips of your fingers and toes
without cautioning us
to be careful
to be realistic
to remember the limitations
of being human.
. . . I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
every day.
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.
