I know this is the verse that Christians use for the born again part where you ask for forgiveness and then start your journey. But I see it as the roadmap to the relationship we are to have with our Creator. Being born from above means to me that I have opened my heart to my Creator and want a relationship with him. No better way than to open my eyes to all the ways the Creator loves me by preparing a world that provides for all my needs. Such love that went into this creation is all around us. That opens up a relationship with God. It is my foundation and anchor. Every day I walk outside and experience God's wonders and see the love for me. The water to me is that of all earthly forces, water is the one that is multi-dimensional; humans need water for life, water cleanses, water changes topography, water gives pleasure. In the same way, this shows us the omnipotence of our God. For the childbearing part - we are created and born surrounded in water.

I do not have children but have had moments with directees when we gazed into each other's eyes and the room filled with the presence of God. I have always experienced that as a holy healing and amazing birth into freedom and new life.

Thank you for sharing this childbirth experience..it deepens and expands my sense of the sacredness of those intimate and tender encounters. Thank you also for the reminder that those birthing moments dont happen once..ie I was born again on 9/2 at 6pm and now I am saved...but rather these miracles take place throughout our lives if we remain willing to be as surprised by holiness as the new mom.
