Bishop Stanovsky, is the UMC Bishop who has helped with some naming of NA abuses by the UMC; she is currently Bishop of the Greater Northwest Area of the UMC (Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Washington). I am finishing the book Healing Haunting Histories: A Settler Discipleship of Decolonization which I find is as basic to some of this work with NA as the book Me and White Supremacy is to Racism. Parallel reading of Sallie McFague's A New Climate for Theology. great way to get us connected to the Earth/ universe via a metaphor of being IN God (incarnate), metaphor of God as the Earth/universe in whom we live. So different to live IN God/ in Creation/ in the body of Christ vs domination ON the earth (our domination OF GOD). Thanks for the fun networking of so many things.
