Thanks for words to build on. As a Canadian I appreciate your mentioning that we have real concerns too. Your state could think about becoming a province of Canada 🙂 universal healthcare; elected leaders give oversight to government departments - health, defence, employment. Anyway, politics is so distracting, Love does seed something in the lover and lovee. Maybe one reason St. Paul encourages prayer for leaders … who killed Jesus. On another note 🎵 I was wondering the other day what blessing / grace does USA need from God.

We need the blessing of clear sight -- of once again recognizing truth from falsehood. Not agreement. But a new regard for facts, data, and ability to discern reality from propaganda.

Thank you Diana. Love your sharings.

FYI the app 5 Calls is free and very easy to use to call members of congress. Offers scripts and details of issues and connects you to your respective senators and representatives. This may be a good thing to pass along since you have a nice following. We are many together.

Peace~ michelle soyer

I am Canadian. Your PS to your neighbours (haha - we throw a U into the spelling ;)) was so touching. Thank you - I almost cried, I was so touched. I understand that the citizens of the US are not all mean-spirited bullies. I understand it must be chilling to live this way right now. I am praying we can get through this without lasting damage to our country to country relationship. None of us will enjoy this warfare of tariffs. The rationale has no foundation. We are but 1/10th of your population so it’s easy to see that we won’t have the $ to withstand the hardships. And just in case you wonder, we don’t want to be your next state! We aren’t perfect but we have made progress in reconciliation with our Indigenous peoples, we strive to uphold social justice and we have our own way of doing things! Love and peace to you, our friends and neighbours.

Thank you for sharing this poem with us. It is powerful, and so true.

Thank you also for your message to your Canadian and Mexican readers.

I live in Washington state and love to cross over into Canada. Twice I have lived within 5 miles of the border (in two different towns/counties). My family cross over often, and visited, shopped, did Girl Scout things together, and UMCs we even have a congregation with 3 church sites in the greater Vancouver region. My husband and I were part of the beginning of that church, and they truely are great people up there in Canada. thank you so much for what you wrote.

Love Relentlessly. A soul-fed mantra offered by Christ 200 years ago. Updated and as true as ever, as needed as ever.

Your words are so inspiring. Especially, during a dark political time.

Thank you, Diana, for the beautiful poem and the encouragement to call our senators and representatives. I was referred by a friend yesterday to an app - 5 Calls - which provides solid information and simplifies the process of actually getting the calls made. One thing i can do most days.
