Yes, you always seem to be in tune as to what's going on in people's mind including my own. The pandemic taught us plenty of lessons to be grateful for. As I resume previous habits and activities I look for the new in the old. If I can't find , I drop it... thanks for thoughtful, wonderful, inspiring words, Herta Kurp

Thank you Diana for your splendid, thoughtful writing. I share the thread of your piece so profoundly. I am hoping and praying for that chorus of song that we can sing out loud and sing out strong to create a new normal. I don't like the old one. You have been such an inspiration for me during this covid pandemic that I have few words to thank you enough. Bless you dear one.

Thanks so much for describing and articulating much of how I have been feeling and coping—-also an extrovert who has learned to appreciate the stillness and comfort of my home.

And privileged that I am able to continue with my psychotherapy clients on various newly learned platforms! Older dogs can learn new coping skills!!

Thanks Diana!! I knew there was something a little off and now I know why. I too have gotten into a new rhythm and trying to figure out what is next. I hear the different birds now and so enjoy the stars and the moon with a new appreciation. Blessings! Annette Minderman

Diana- two weeks, yes, but worth the wait. As a fellow writer I identified with the "should write about that" and appreciated your perspective. Years ago I wrote a poem, "Season of Sex and Cicadas" . Their life cycle seems fascinating to us humans and I loved your comparison to our hibernation of the past 17 months. Thank you, as always, for your thoughts and words. I honor your silence and stepping back but I must admit I don't wish for more long waits. At least I have your "Freeing Jesus" but even that is coming to a close very soon.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts so clearly! You expressed what I've been feeling beautifully, as always! In no hurry to get back at it. Am enjoying the new contemplative self. Working to fit that into the parts of the before life that are wanted.

Wow. This deeply resonated. During the pandemic, I've felt like I'm awakening to a new, more meaningful way of living, but can't express all the "how's" yet.

So very thoughtful. Each of us needs to be aware of the ways we reenter, or not. I’m certain that we will find that we all learned something about ourselves and our communities during the past months. We need, as you have done in this piece, to be aware of what we learned

Thank you for these words that echo my own feelings. I have enjoyed cooking healthy meals for my family, baking, spending time with my children, and watching and listening to the birds. Oh my, their songs are inviting, healing, and full of joy! I want to savor each of these precious moments!

That is just where I am. I see some people racing to get back to normal, and I don't want that at all. I feel different, unfinished, but deeply content with slow and quiet.
